EN5339QI 3A Point-of-Load DC-DC Converter

Enpirion's newest point-of-load DC-DC converter, the EN5339QI, enables a 20 percent solution footprint reduction and 40 percent lower profile compared to previous Enpirion 3 Amp products. The Enpirion EN5339 3 Amp power system-on-a-chip (PowerSoC) integrates the controller, power MOSFETs, compensation network and inductor in a tiny 4 mm x 6 mm package.

The 1.1 mm height and small footprint make this synchronous buck converter the solution of choice for Solid State Drives (SSD) and industrial embedded applications where board space and thickness is at a premium. The device’s low profile also enables placement on the backside of PCBs along with the passive components, freeing up valuable top side PCB space for active components.

Unlike discrete power products, Enpirion’s turnkey point-of-load power solution gives the designer a complete power system that is fully simulated, characterized, validated and production qualified.
