Enpirion Accepts “Product of the Year” Award from Electronic Products Magazine
Ultra-integrated power devices collect top honors from industry heavy-weights

BRIDGEWATER, New Jersey, May 1, 2007 – Enpirion, Inc. today was presented with the “Product of the Year” award from Electronic Products magazine. Mark Downing, CEO of Enpirion, accepted the prestigious award at the company’s New Jersey headquarters. Enpirion’s EN5312Q series of ultra-integrated DC-DC converters was chosen by the magazine for achieving record power density.
"One of the most important decisions in electronic design is how to get the power you need into the space you have on the board,” said Alix Paultre, Executive Editor of Electronic Products. “The EN5312Q chipscale DC-DC converter from Enpirion represents the current state of the art in high-density high-quality board-level power."

Electronic Products used a discriminating selection process for its 31st annual “Product of the Year Awards” to find the most outstanding products from the thousands introduced throughout 2006. Enpirion’s winning product is a 1A buck regulator with integrated inductor in a 4 mm x 5 mm x 1.1 mm QFN package. The total solution footprint is 57 mm2.
“To have our products recognized by such a credible and influential engineering publication is a tremendous honor,” said Mark Downing, CEO of Enpirion, who accepted the award. “It also validates just how crucial power management has become, as a first-order design consideration for contemporary electronic devices. Power management choices can make or break a product today.”
In addition to the Electronic Products award, Enpirion recently added two more honors to its impressive list of awards for its breakthrough DC-DC converters with integrated inductors. EE Times selected Enpirion’s EN533x and EN536x parts for its list of “Ultimate Products,” which was published April 2, 2007, and EDN’s list of the “Hot 100” products of 2006 included Enpirion’s EP53x2Q converters for low-power and portable applications.
